When I came home last night without Sadie Mae the other dogs looked at me like I had lost my mind. I dont know if yall believe this or not but I think they think that Mommy got rid of Sadie. When we went to bed without her they kept staring out the door for her to come to bed. DH keeps telling them that she is sick and in the hospital and will be home sometimes today. It is just weird the way they react when one of the pack is missing.

I'm sure they can sense that something's not right and don't understand where Sadie is or why she's not there. Sophie and Ziggy were this way when we lost rusty. They also pick up on our emotions. Hang in there. I'm praying you'll have soom good news soon.

OH, YES, I understand perfectly, when we had Relay neutered, he had to stay overnight and the other dogs were moping around, specially at bed time we have a ritual of out to potty, in to a lil snack and then to their crates and they eat on pack order with Relay be the one before Delilah, and they kept looking when I fed Delilah after Prada, they know one of the members is missing, sending lots of prayers for our LIL Sadie to come home feeling a lot better today..

Poor Sadie. Hope she gets to feeling better. I guess the others just don't understand. They form a bond with each other that is amazing. We used to have two beagles that were both males. When the older beagle went to Rainbow Bridge, they younger one howled for hours. It was like he was crying for his brother. I thought wow now they sure have an amazing bond. And some people want to say animals don't have feelings. Hmmm. Sending prayers for a speedy recovery.

Praying for a speedy recovery for Sadie, I wish that my pups were closer, Yoshi still doesn't care for prissy and we brought her home Nov.16th.

Sadie is home but she has to go to her vet in the morning, the hospital wanted to keep her again tonight even though she has not had anymore episodes but, after I went to visit her I told them she needed to come home with me and they allowed it as long as I promised them that if she got worse I would bring her back. The pack is very happy she is home, they all wagged their tails excessively when she came in and she is even in better spirits than she was but she did not sleep at all in the hospital so thats what she is doing now and has been for awhile. The pack is happy, Momma is happy and Sadie is happy. For now my world is alright, lets se what tomorrow brings.

I'm glad Sadie is home and feels better soon. I think they do get worried when one is missing.

Hello Donna,

I'm just now seeing this. What is going on with little Sadie?? I'm so sorry to hear she was in the hospital. :( I hope and pray she will be 100% VERY soon.

Awe, bless your babies hearts, they know when one of their siblings are missing. I'm glad all is right in your world, I hope tomorrow is even better.
