Prayers For Dottie (My Heart)
 

I know this is a forum for yorkies, but I hope it's ok to ask for prayers for one of our other furbabies we have, she needs all the prayers she can get. Dottie is our German shorthaired pointer mix, she's 11 years old. Don't wanna go into all that's happened today, to emotional right now. Took her to the vet today, waiting on test result and will know if she has pyometra for sure in the morning, if so, she has to have surgery right away tomorrow, but doc says with her age, she has a 50/50 chance of coming out of surgery. She's my heart and I beg of you, anyone here who prayers, please, pray for our Dottie and ask God to give her a miracle. Thank you so much in advance.

PS. Please don't harp on me that I never had her spayed, I had my reasons and it was NOT to breed her. I had been through something very traumatic in my life and Dottie was my saving grace, she helped me to heal from a traumatic brain injury and something life shattering afterwards. God gave her to me and she brought me back from so much. I was so scared to death to have her spayed, I was afraid I'd lose her from her going under. Yes, I know it was very selfish of me, but I can't change it now. It's a double edge sword, they pyo can kill her, but so can the surgery....

We too will keep you and Dottie in our thoughts and prayers. It is amazing how strong the power of prayer is...I am such a strong believer. Love the name Dottie by the way...by best friend growing up :D hugs

Prayers for Dottie & You

I'm a very strong believer as well, have a faith that withstands a lot, but when somethin happens to my furkids or skinkids, I feel like this house was build on sand. Been prayin to God askin to help me keep my eyes on Him and not this storm, but I do have to admit, it gets so hard sometimes.

Thank you to everyone for your prayers and kind words, I appreciate it more than I can even begin to say. Not sure if Dottie has to have the surgery or not, won't know till early in the AM when Doc calls me with results.

Sending prayers for Dottie and for you. I have seen time and time again where the prayers offered up here have made a difference. Praying Dottie doesn't need the surgery and that she is healed.
