HELP- I am an addict :headspin: I need help, since 1/11 I have been neglecting my husband, my dog, my job, and my morning routine of going to the gym. I have stayed up night after night past my bedtime and yesterday did not even take a shower (good thing I work from home). Last night I even burned dinner, much to my dismay the DH did not like salmon jerky. And yet one again I am sitting her in my exercise clothes but never got my butt out the door to the gym. Why is this happening to me you may ask, well it's your fault, yes all of your faults, who would have known that there was so much Yorkie stuff to yap about:animal36 Yes I admit it I am a Yorkie Talk Addict, which I will now start referring to as YTA. With over 10 posts a day I have gone from newbie to senior talker, proving yet again how much I know or LOL what a loud mouth I really am. Of course if I am not posting about something rest assured I am reading about it, or looking at Yorkie related products, did you know there is a place on here that offers well over 100 different kinds of Yorkie socks and shoes, even sandals, I couldn't stop looking, they were all SDC (so darn cute). Second to my time spent posting, is looking at all your photos, well maybe not of you exactly but of your DLCFB's (darn little cute furbabies). I keep thinking I would like to cut back but why oh why does there have to be so many riveting topics, where else can I go to figure out the proper onsie for a small dog, discuss pee dribbling males, scare'dy cat dogs, top knots and dresses, scented versus unscented bully sticks, sleep positions with your dog, and the one I keep avoiding Stuffed Yorkies! Can you believe that DH (d@%m husband)of mine has the nerve to insinuate I am wasting time. :wavey: Kidding aside, I just want to say Hi, and tell you all I have enjoyed my short time here, thanks for this great site, I love it a lot and appreciate all the people that spend time generously sharing their knowledge. I plan on becoming a donating member to help insure YT keeps yapping for many years to come. Thanks Donna |
I don't have a problem with addiction. I love every minute of it. Haha!:D |
Thanks for coming forward. I too am an addict  DH tells me "gossip time I bet". |
Hi Donna. I am also a Yorkie Talkoholic but I abuse at work away from home. If I worked from home, I wouldn't get anything done except snuggling with my babies and taking lots of pictures and posting them here, but what's so wrong about that?:) |
I am here quite a bit myself. I am here everyday. I am on at work and at home. I check in between my online class too. I can't go a day without coming here. I come here and my bichon forum all the time. Well hey I don't do twitter or facebook. I do yorkietalk and bichon.ca. I love it. It's better than gossiping and getting in other people's business.:D |

My first few weeks on YT were the worst addicting and then it lessened some after that, thank goodness. But I definitely can feel your pain! Just like any new drug, the worst effects occur at the beginning so it will get better and you will return to normal living at some point - just not for a while yet! :):):) |
ME TOO! I went through the same thing last summer and fall. Now I am trying to whittle the weight off that I gained sitting infront of my computer. I figure it takes less time away from YT if I go to the gym than to go shopping. I have had to limit my YT time to 30 or so min in the morning just so I can get some stuff done. Good luck trying to get a grip on your time. |
hehehe....I too can admit to being an addict. no cure or therapy needed or wanted for this addiction....JUST GIVE ME MY YT!!! :D:D |
