Hello everyone. SO....after yesterday's vet vist and some Rx dog food, Prince seems to be getting back to normal. No more seizures! YAY!!! No more foamy mouth. She's been feeding him with the syringe, and he was resistant at first, but she was able to get him to eat. I suggested trying him every hour after she had gotten home with him yesterday. I suggested that as long as he was interested in eating she should feed him.
I was also thinking it was hypoglycemia from what I had read on the net. Her Dr had a good point(or at least it seemed to me). They could do blood test, but testing for what? They said the symptoms he was having could have also been from a toxin and without havig an idea of what to test for.....:confused:. So....since he was not wanting to eat, and by the time she had taken him to the Dr it had been a good while ince he ate, they wanted to address that and try to get his feedings back on track. Personally, I still think it was hypoglycemia, but I'm no vet. This morning when she woke up, she said he was sitting up at the door to his crate looking at her like, "mom, are you gonna get me out of here?" LOL So glad he's doing much better.
My baby goes for her 1st vet visit tomorrow and I am so excited. Thanks again everyone for your prayers, well wishes, and advice. I truly appreciate it. |
