Wierd things you do with your doggies? lol My kids all think my hubby and I are wierd, and I don't remember how it started other than it was me. Lol. Anyway, started with Taylor 3 yrs ago when I got him at 7months old. One day I leaned over and said "give me a beak" and when he touched his nose on mine I gave him lovings. Well that caught on and when I say yay after he does it, he'll jump up and move his front paws in the air and bark all exxcited. It's cute and I've got the others doing it too. People think we're wierd, but I love it and so do my doggies. :D |
Tee hee! I can just imagine how cute that is!!! I love the special little things we share with our babies! For me, I don't know if it's silly, but me and Katie Scarlett have this special afternoon bond. She will only do this with me. For her afternoon nap she will crawl up on my chest and dig her face in by my neck. I lay my head down on hers very softly and she goes to sleep. It is the most precious thing to sit there and pet her and listen to her soft breathing as she sleeps. It's like a real baby! I love it! The only other unusual ritual we have that people (well people who are not Yorkie owners) think is weird is our daily woo woo and bootie baths. My family all makes fun of me for going to her with a wipe after she tee tee's for a woo woo bath. LOL. And my husband thinks I'm weired because I check back there almost every day. I tell him, well someone has to! What if she has a dingleberry stuck or anal glands are needing expressed. Hey, someone has to do it. LOL. It's not weird! |
I've been known th walk around with toilet paper checking baby booties for the same thing. Lol! Oh well, not any different than wiping skin kids noses. :D |
Does anyone talk to their babies out loud in public....like actually holding a conversation with them? I do and the weird part is I don't even realize I am doing it. :D. |
LOL Give me a beak! That is funny!! When I snuggle with Pnut I will sniff him like I am a dog- You know how dogs sniff other dogs faces or something like that. He will let me too- its funny, when I sniff under his chin he will move his head up, or turn his head the other way- I really think he likes it :rolleyes: |

Also sometimes, when he is sleeping- I like to pester him :rolleyes: He will get so alloyed with me he will move LoL |
We started "saddle up" with Annie when it was time to leave to go to the office for work. Now when I say it she will run to the door and wait for me to pick her up. She just loves to go to work with me. Deb |
Both hubby and I put our lips on his tummy and blow into it. It usually makes a "bbboooppp" sound upon contact with the skin on his tummy. He loves it and will show his tummy to us before bedtime for us to do it. I think it tickles him because as we are doing it, his backleg sort of kicks around lol. |

Yeah I am not the only one :) Yes I talk to Chloe in public... forget that I am doing it lol. I sing to her all the time changing the words often to more puppycentric lyrics and I too do the belly thing Chloe loves it. Chloe likes to be carried draped over my shoulder, she will do this while I clean the house and even gets annoyed often if I put her down! So glad to know that I am not alone.... thank goodness for YT lol :) |
i put my both hands up to meesha and say hi five's high enough she has to stand on 2 legs she'll jump up and hit both her front paws to my hands, then i say yayyyy meesha and she gets all excited |
When I'm ready to take mine out of the confined area, I always say "Let's GO". They like to hear the word "GO" ! Anyway, they both will rush up, sit, and hold their left front Paw/Leg up. I always use Harness', and they know the strap has to go under that leg. It's even cuter when they just happen to be side by side when they do that, but, if I try to grab the Camera, they get excited and move. |
I don't think checking the bum is the least bit strange. I check Kiko's before I let her in after she poo's. Let's face it, no one wants her to jump up on their lap only to discover she has a hanger! I also talk to Kiko in public. I think the Japanese vet thinks it's odd, but he never says anthing about it. Whenever we come home Kiko has to get to our faces to say hello, even if she went with us. |
