Question for those with Snoozer car seats I'm worried I just bought the wrong size... I already have a medium PetGear car seat for ZoE that I really like. It matches my car's interior well and stays permanently strapped in there, partly cos it's such a pain to strap in properly. When I'm working late or gone doing whatever for a long period of time, either my Mum or Dad will stop by my house and pick up ZoE and take her over to their house to hang out (she truly is their lil grandpup). So I bought another carseat, so keep in the breezeway, and that way, whoever picks her up can use it to transport her. I bought the Snoozer this time because it looked easier to strap in quickly and I liked the drawer for storing a few toys, harness & leash. I bought the medium Snoozer cos I have the medium PetGear and figured they are the same, but now looking at threads on them, many people have said they got the small Snoozer and someone even mentioned getting the medium and then returning it for the small cos it was too big. Looking at the dimensions it looks like the med. snoozer is the same size as the large PetGear :( So my question is, will the medium Snoozer fit on a regular front passenger seat of a sedan, or is it too wide? Is it too big for a single 7lb dog? Thanks :) |

It will fit on the front seat. I have a medium and both my 11 lbers fit in it. (You need another dog:D) |

I have the small snoozer for Trixie and she is about 7 or 8 lbs. She has lots of room in the small to lay down. She even uses it in the house and when she curls up in it she only fills about 1/2 of the car seat. I don't know if too much room is a bad thing though. |
I have the small Snoozer for Sophie Kate, she is 8lbs (of fun) and it fits well in the front and back seats of my SUV. Please make sure your air bags disable if you put it in the front seat. |

I have a small snoozer for Mikki. It is just perfect for her. |
Oh Darn! I got excited thinking about how ideal a spare carseat would be, that I leaped before I looked  ZoE & I do take a 3 hour trip across state about once a month to visit my kids at college, and it sounds like she'd REALLY be able to stretch out in it, so that might be a good thing. UPS says it's due to be delivered Friday, so I have to wait to see just how big this thing is in person. |
Jackson has a medium Snoozer and it's perfect for him -- but he's 16lbs! LOL. |
I don't think too much room will be a problem for the dog, not sure about our car however. I have the small and a medium and do not have any issues with either of them using them together or individually. |
Excuse me for just jumping in here, but, which snoozer car seat is the best? I looked on line and they have 2-3 pages of car seats. Charlie is under 4 lbs. They all look so big for him...? They do look safe and comfy though!! Thanks!! :-) |
1 Attachment(s) Well, the medium snoozer arrived! And it is BIG...much bigger than her other car seat. Right now I have it in the living room and she'll use it as a bed (somewhat ironic, because I bought her a Snoozer Cozy Cave bed for Christmas and she won't go near that thing ). At least she has plenty of room to lie down in it. I think it will be great for long car trips as well as for when my Mum or Dad pick her up. I still prefer the Pet Gear car seat for regular use around town though. The sides of it are firmer, so ZoE can stand up with her paws on the sides and see out the windows better. |
