I don't know why, but I just haven't had the best of luck with spays. Even my boxer girl Gracie, I had her spayed here about a month and a half ago and she wasn't alone through the first 5 days afterwards, but yet AGAIN, the next morning her spay, she split open to:( So, back to the vet we went and he reclosed her and put her on antibiotics. I just don't get it either, cause I always stay with them and have E-collars on them so they can't chew, I don't let them run, jump or get up and do hardly anything but go potty, and they both split open. When I take Jazzie in to get her spayed, I think I'm gonna ask doc if he'll put a stitch or two in just for good measure, instead of just using the surgical glue. |
