Glad they got busted!! I sure hope all those furbabies are able to find forever loving homes. It just chills me to the bone to think of what these furkids were gonna be used for!! |

Ok I need to hear some happy stories today. This is depressing. Just like the thread about the poor little girl dog marking the house and being bitten by the family's pitbull. There are some evil people in this world. I am glad they got busted. Now for the pitbull's family I hope they get some serious behaviour training for their dog. It's next target may be a human and then they will get busted too. |
Oh my good grief, this is just too sad. First reading about the Yorkies locked in the trunk of the car no this. I tell I am beginning to dislike people more and more. Don't think I can read any more things like this today. |

Well as I know these things progress in this part of the land they will investigate, and if the person does not have right claim to them they will eventually be released for adoption. I can tell you in high profile cases like these almost all of the animals get adopted. SO this will probably have a happy ending in the long run. THough it is sad to read, and the officer originally suspected drugs, isn't it a blessing that this was busted??? If for no other reason than to get these babies to a more humane environment with some food, water, air and light. So we must look on the bright side as this will probably have a better outcome for the animals. A bulletin just came on and only one was found dead among the 125. That in itself is a miracle. So many more were saved by them getting busted. |
We need to stay angry, we need to stay appalled, we need to stay shocked, and we need to stay depressed, we also need to stay active, and aware that not everyone loves animals like we do, and not every dog has the life our precious yorkies are afforded, yet they all deserve such. We need to stay the army that fights against this all over our country. THis one was in my backyard. |

There is absolutely no good news in the news these days. there was a story on the evening news about finding some 40 dead animals 2 counties over from me. Police Find 40 Dead Animals In Columbia Home CBS Baltimore Sick, sick people out there. |
So glad these two women were caught. I just keep fighting for the rights of the animals. That is all I can do. Well, that and rescue them when I am able, or help to find a rescue. I wonder if these women were moving their very own puppy mill. |

This sure makes me sick to read about those poor dogs crammed in a U-haul. These people should be crammed in a bumpy,hot trailer with no food and water.Take and drive them from Virginia all the way to California and then euthanize them. Probably that is too easy for them better yet hang them. Let all those poor babies see them die and hopefully they get good homes. God has a place for these idiots.Susan |

Well Yorkie family here is the latest and you are NOT going to be prepared for this one. This morning's news says this incident may have been part of a rescue effort by a group called Hearts for Hounds, as one of the ladies arrested appears on their website. That, however, is not yet substantiated. |
Hummmmm VERY interesting...if you go to the Hearts for Hounds website, it is conveniently under maintanance today. |
