I don't think a newborn should be taken out like that- that pup looks really young and should be with the Momma. |
I think your friend should ask for a pic of daddy as well. She also needs to get some NutriCal in case of a hypoglycemic attack & she needs to feed her several times a day as she's too young to be away from her mama. Taking the pup to work with her will be good so that your friend can see that she eats every 2 or 3 hrs. Also the pup needs to be kept warm so she should not be where there is fan blowing on her constantly as lots of offices have. |
Awwww poor thing looks to young to be away from her mom especially if she doesn't have teeth. Some of the breeders here will know this for sure but I think she should still be getting a little bit of milk? She doesn't look like a pure breed yorkie but o well still a cutie! |
the larger dog is the father and the smaller one is the mother!! I just called the people after I saw the pic. and thats what he told me. He said the mom was 2 and the dad was 3. He also said that it was an accident that she got pregnant :( |

I don't have advice, just wanted to say that the baby is a cutie and I hope your friend loves on this baby no matter if yorkie or not. Hope she turns out to be happy and healthy. |

That baby looks too young to be away from it's mom. I would be very suspicious of people who had a pup that young with no mommy dog around. I mean it could have been stolen. I hope it makes out OK. I guess time will tell if it is a Yorkie or not. |

No mam, wish I could say I was! After, my friend sent me pic. I called the people myself bc that's exactly what I said, the mother looks like a baby! Supposedly, she had 5 and vet had delivered them! I don't know, feel really bad for da pup! But good news my friend said she can now feel teeth they just haven't broken through the skin yet:) so thanks for everyone's help! |
Maybe the pic of the parents is not a recent picture. THat would make more sense. |
I just looked at those pictures again. If that is a Yorkie it is going to be a good sized one. Somethings not right. |
