1 Attachment(s) I totally get it, my husband and I are totally taken with Lola, she just turned one and is half yorkie half pom, and LOL we think she is perfect. I had 4 purebreds before and I have to say my last yorkie, almost ruined the breed for me, he was cute but had so many quirks and so much anger I swore no more. About a year later I started missing the sound of four little paws, wanted something different but not to different. It was like an instant connection, she loves other dogs and people with all her heart, her tail wags constantly, she hardly every barks, eats any kind of food I feed her, chews dogs bones, she would have nothing to do with the litter box just wanted to potty outside and within a month was 100% housebroken, rings a bell to go out, sleeps quietly in a crate by out bed, fetches, even loves to swim (all complete opposite of my last dog) We just look at each other and say how did we get so darn lucky, so I sure know how you all feel. |
One story on how I think they understand you, we were on a walk, and I was looking at Lola she about 15' head of me on her long leash, she was prancing and so happy. I just started feeling so lucky to have her, that I said "Lola, Mommy just loves you so much", she stopped short, turned and ran back toward me so fast, I bent down and she just jumped in to my arms and started kissing me, I swear it was like she was saying, Mom I love you to, I am embarrassed to say, but it made me start to cry. |
Awww! I know that feeling quite well! Aren't these little cuties the best?! :) |
