Kash peed on his sister!!! Last night, I was playing with the dogs and I noticed that Lucy's hair on her back near her butt was kind of sticky and stringy. I pointed it out to my fiance and he figured it's just because her tail comes up and lays over her back. A few hours later, I thought it was still weird, so I smelled it. Yup, it was pee  Lucy and Kash go outside together, and they will not go out without the other! I have watched before, and if Lucy poops, Kash will immediately pee on top of it. I wonder if that's what happened yesterday, if she was doing her thing and Kash smelled it and marked it, with her in between? I don't know what to do with that boy! When he was with his foster mom, he marked a lot, but after he got neutered and we adopted him, he's only done it a few times, including once on Layla's wheelchair. I'm happy that he rarely does it inside, but it was not very nice of him to pee on his sister! |
yikes that very well may be the case!! i call mine pee pee head when he marks. its a bit outta control!! haha. boys will be boys. |
Lol I am not used to this boy thing! Peeing on his sister, licking at his little boy parts in front of company... boys are soooooo gross! :) |
Does peeing on something always mean that the boy is marking? |

I think they do what you allow them too. For example, we were at my aunts house in new years day. She had a tiny poodle mix dog, he was adorable!!! He played nice with Kaji for 2 minutes, then his bad manners came out. The entire afternoon, the poodle mix was trying to obsessively lick Kaji's peeper. It was creepy!!!! His people allowed it, so the poodle mix continued to come after Kaji. Kaji kept hopping into my lap to get away from the pup. Maybe I'm just extremely lucky Kaji is the way he is. If I say no, he listens and stops what he's doing. |
lolol! My rescue Jackson (maltese) peed on Zoey several times at the dog park. I scolded him each time and he stopped. I still watch him whenever she pees and he is next to her. It has been months since he did that so I am hoping that he doesn't do that again. And as to the dog licking the other dog's private area - my Zoey has done that to Jackson and I tell her to stop. Dogs will be dogs. Cherie |

He is so weird about his private area lol... If I pet him or cuddle him or anything, as soon as I stop he will immediately put his head down there and have a look, and I always tell him "It's okay Kash, I didn't take it!" |

Mine accidentally get peed on fairly frequently especially by Buddy the golden. He will studdenly lift his leg to pee in the grass and a yorkie walks through the stream. They really need to start looking where they are walking. Urine overall is sterile though. |
When I walk my dogs, Zipper will try to sniff a patch of grass at the same time Jax lifts his leg over it, so he pees on her head. He doesn't do it on purpose though! |
Well I'm glad we're not the only ones! I put Lucy in the shower before bed and shampooed her back end. She wasn't happy, but she didn't smell like pee anymore! |
Sophie Kate has been pee'd on a few times by the neighbors Min Pin. Ray, the Min Pin is older and blind (or almost blind) and will hike his leg to what he "thinks" is a tree or bush. In fact, this summer Mr Ray the Min Pin pee'd on ME (oh yes he did), you must of thought I was a tree. |
Sometimes my maniacs go under them while they are peeing. Then they get peed on!!! They just can't wait a second for them to finish. lol My Coco has to pee on everything he runs out of pee so he just lifts his leg! |
Hahaha I guess Lucy just joined the club of peed-on pups |
