Snow yorkies I meant to post this when we had our little 1/2" of snow but I just forgot. Who all has a yorkie who loves the snow? Callie is still having to be taken out on a leash to go potty and when we had our snow she was going crazy wanting to play in it. She loves to stick her face in it and then hop like a bunny on all four legs. I know she shouldn't be hoping but there's only so much you can stop lol. She just loves the snow and gets such a kick out of it. I hope we get some more when shes all better so she can really go crazy in it. |
Bella is a Morkie and she is the same way...it is so darn cute! She does not even mind the cold at all! (although, I am not so thrilled with it!!! :D) |
This will be Sophias first winter.. so I'm really looking forward to finding out!!! I'm a little worried about the potty situation for the snow though! |

I love that coat on Jackson. :) Great videos. My boys love the snow. We haven't had anything but flurries so far this winter. I like the snow for walking because the boys don't pick up leaves and grass. They just get a little wet. |
Kacee loves the snow and goes all over in it. It's so funny to watch her try to walk up a drift and then sink. Mommie has to pull her out then.:D |

This was Thor and Little Bits first snow and I think the first time Molly ever touched snow to and they loved it. It was kind of funny to see them touch the snow for the first time. |
This is Katie Scarlett's first winter as well. We got a couple of inches near Halloween and she sniffed at it then. But we haven't had the big snow we usually get yet. I am still wondering what she will think. We are ready for it when it comes though. LOL. I have her snow boots and a good thick coat ready by the door. :) |
Our two LOVE snow! They love to tunnel in the snow and every time they get taken out I have to go find where in their tunnels they took off their jackets. Most of the time they get to use the pad in the winter because I refuse to play hide and seek with the jackets when it is dark outside. |
my dog is a year and half yorkie half pom and has a real thick coat, the snow has not been deep but she seems to like it and is not bothered at all by the cold. |
My pomeranian loves it! he is a white/cream color now but when he was a puppy he was almost pure white and blended in.. :p This is Harley's first winter, in northeastern PA it's been nothing but nice weather! which is strange... it's been in the 40's and 50's...it flurried once or twice. He is still too young to be out in the cold so we will see what it's like next winter! :) |
Although we've only had about 1" of snow this year, I can say emphatically that Oz will take snow over rain ANY DAY. Getting him to go out in the rain is like torture. When we had our little snow he was running all over the place in it. Makes me wish for more snow and less rain!! :rolleyes: |
Cute coat on Jackson, Riot's got the same one! He loves the snow but only for a few minutes then come running back inside. The first time he goes out after a fresh snow he always sticks his face right in a pile of it. |

We have 6 dogs. Our dogs love the snow and had a ball last year. This year so far nothing. We have a 5 month old shih tzu named Basil but I don't think he'll be able to play in the snow this year. I think he's far too young. The only thing that bothers me is that when it snows, we have to change their sweaters and jackets 4 times a day because they get so wet. |
Jackson is such a fun loving guy! Good thing he has his coat! You could tell in that last video his butt was cold! Gracie loves the snow but she gets cold so fast she can only take it for a few minutes. Then she comes inside and sits on or under my heated throw. |
