Rabies vaccinations Just curious what the difference between the 1yr and the 3yr is? All I know is there's a price difference but my vet's never answered me about my question. All 3 of mine go in tomorrow am for them. :D |
There is really no difference. They need rabies as a pup and then again at one year old for a booster (legally). Here rabies is legally required every 3yrs. If I could get around it, I would, but I want to oblige to the law. However all other vaccines, I will no longer give for the rest of his life most likely (will probably do a titer test around 4-5 years old to be sure of his immunity). |
Well my doggies went and got their vaccinations. I asked, vet was in a really good mood and he said similar to what you'd said. The booster ones can go longer as long as the first one didn't expire before it was done with the booster. Anyway, was pleasantly suprised on doggies weights, Chloe was 4.2lbs, Bella was 6.4 and Taylor was 7.2lbs. :) Now to get their city tags and we're all set to go. Yay! |
