What color hair does Princess have? 3 Attachment(s) Princess had very distinct black & tan/gold hair as a pup & around a year I think started to show some silver/steel blue when she was cut short. She's just 2 years old now & I don't cut her hair as close. Now it looks like she is getting tan mixed in with her black/steel/silver hair. Tan was never there before, why would it be now? Or am I just not seeing the steel blue, etc. as it is? I've only seen one steel blue yorkie in person & he looked nothing like her. If you can tell from the pics, what do you think? Is it even possible to go from black to steel to tan/gold or even black to tan/gold?:aimeeyork |
I see some gold, her colour is beautiful :) |
She looks beautiful !!! I love her color !! My Max is around that color and it looks like he is getting lighter he is 4 1/2 |
She might surprise you and turn into a blonde eventually. Who knows? She's a cutie!:) |

And I agree, beautiful no matter what color. I'd love her just the same if she was plaid with polka dots.:p |
I love her coloring! |

Ohh i love that color, it's so pretty when the light catches it and the gold strands shine through. Lexie has the same thing going on. She's getting some gold on her saddle and if i part her hair its gold underneath. It's so exciting to watch them change:D |
Thanks...Mia and I appreciate all though wonderful compliments! It'll be interesting to watch your baby change and see what the final color is! Probably not plaid with polka dots, though...:p |
I love seeing all the different colors..Prissy is getting silver on her face and top of her head, she is only 15 weeks old and changing so much. |
Princess is adorable! Her coat reminds me of Couver's. He is 3 years and 3 months old and he is getting gold in his coat on his back. I would post a picture, but all of his recent photos are him in winter clothing so that won't help... |
My little one was very dark when I first got her. I wanted a dark colored dog because my previous dog had been a white and gold Shih Tzu and I did not want to try to replace him. Well, Gracie is now gold. She looks like a totally different dog than the one I purchased. I love her dearly but I guess you just cannot always tell what color you are going to end up with. |
LOVE her color...I agree..maybe turning gold?....my Sadie is the typical black and gold...she is 7yrs old now and I notice some gold mixed into her coat...I think as they get older there hair changes color...I know mine is! LOL ;) |
