So weird isn't it? Does he normally travel in the back of the car - or on the seat next to you? I'm thinking harness/seat belt restraint on the seat next to you maybe? At least then you could occasionally have one hand stroking him? Sorry to keep prying - but I know what a terrible distraction this can be! :) Sally + Harry x |
He prefers the back seat. He moves around freely, I don't use a restraint (I know I should). I tried it, he hated it became tangled in the belts at one point trying to maneuver his way out of it. I had to pull over and take care of that, then 30 minutes later he was in the same situation. A woman, alone on the side of the road for whatever reason is an invitation to trouble and I'm concerned for my own safety as well. If I place him in the front passenger seat he will go to the back on his own. |
How about a Thundershirt..and also Vets Best--Comfort Calm..It is a homeopathic formula.. |

We still have another trip to make to get to my regular vet. My sister has one locally that I could go to in case of emergency and I carry his vet records with me. Her vet wouldn't sell me a single flea/heartworm dose when I'd forgotten his without doing a test on him. I do understand why she wouldn't, so now I keep that information with me. Thanks again everyone! |
