Greenies Now why would you give a Greenie to a puppy. My dogs have choked on things and I've stuck my fingers down their throat pulled it up OR given them like a hymlick. I dont know Im still going to gove them to mine.... http://cbs2.com/consumer |
There have been quite a few articles on here that talk about dogs dying from Greenies. I read too many, and threw them all out. They are not 100% digestable like you think, and can stay in their system and clog. I too have had to do the hymlick for a greenie choke. Laila loves them, but she won't be getting any more of those. Instead I bought her a new flavor of raw-hide stick, which she seems to be enjoying. |
My fur babies won't be getting any greenies, theres to many other treats out there that are 100% digestable not 85%. If they eat something to hurt them I sure don't want it to be something I gave to them. |
My dog just threw up chunks of a greenie last night for about and hour bc he must have swallowed parts of the greenie instead of chewing it. I am not going to be giving those to him anymore bc of this. Even though Brie chews them. I feel bad bc they like them, but I will have to give them something else. |

Can you pull it out of their intestines, too? Because that seems to be where they are stopping; not in the throats. |

I just dont know I don't know what to think. They can choke on the rawhides too that's what I've had to pull out of throats . The whole intestine thing now thats something to worry about. Honey is always choking on water. She's so dumb I'm always afraid she'll drowned in her water bowl. Yes she is that dumb, |
I won't be giving Tiger any more Greenies. He loves them, but it's just too scary to think about! |
I've heard way too many bad things about them...so i've never gave any to Kelsey |
