I had a similiar experience with a family that lived at the front of my old subdivison. Their house was only a few off a main street and was the street that 100s of people entered the sub through. Their little weiner dog was constantly in the street, I returned it to their door numerous times. Once no one was even home, (dad had gone around the corner for a few min.) I told them over and over your dog is going to get run over, even got angry. One day I see a little weiner dog in the street in front of their house that looked differnt, found out that their other dog got run over and killed in the street, and now this was their new one, Ok can I scream now!!!!!!!! |
another story same people, I ran into the mom at the store where she worked, she said we just had puppies, I asked how it all went since this was her's and the dog's first time. I said weren't you there she said no I planned to but then they called and asked if I could work. She seemed to know when the puppies were coming but did not bother to stay home, now I have never had a dog of mine have puppies but I know small breeds often have trouble so I would never think of leaving the house at a time when I was pretty sure my dog would be given birth. Yikes! That is so sad when you have that right next door and to have watch it all happening. They are so hard headed. Why can't they just accept your knowledge on the subject? You are just trying to help. People can be real idiots sometimes! :>) I feel sorry for those 2 puppies and the puppies to come if she breeds them. Geeezzzzzzz! |
I'm with concretegirl, you could always anonymously report them to the humane society if you think the dogs are being badly taken care of, I know that's extreme, but I'm going with the general concensus that they are stupid, let them be. You can only do so much. |
