Muttlucks? 1 Attachment(s) Hi I just bought Meesha a pair of muttluks, size itty bitty, anyone have photos of thier yorkies wearing muttlucks, they're too big for her now, but will probably fit her when she's older, i saw them at a pet store on sale for 30$,they're the smallest boots i've been able to find, i want meesha to play in the snow and get fresh air, and with out cold winters she needs good boots, i'm wondering if i'm out of my mind paying that much for dog boots, or if muttluks are worth them, i'd also love to see a photo of a yorkie in muttluks, i'm curious , i tryed looking on google but couldn't find them, they seem kind of stiff, can your yorkie walk in them, or should i just return these? |
Do they have to wear them? I have been curious....we normally have subzero temps here and I know Bella won't be out for a long time to play...honestly..I won't either! This year...we are having crazy warm weather and we have been outside for hours this week. When it was colder she would do a romp in the snow and back to the door to come in (after doing her duty). I was wondering if I have to buy a jacket or boots? Is it harmful to them not to? I am concerned but do not want to put Bella through unnecessary stress...she hates anything on her! :D Stubborn little girl! |
...sorry, I meant to also say those are the cutest thing ever!!! |
lol, ya i hate to stress meesha out but befroe it even snowed, the ground was too cold for her, she'd lift a back and a front paw from being cold then start to shiver as soon as i put her on the gound,.... so she needs something on her feet so she can play, and the ground is cold here at least 6 months. meesha loves her sweaters, but i tried putting a snowsuit on her and she wouldnt move...so i keep the sweater on her because she dosen't have much fur on her belly |
:D That is how it is here too...Normally...I am going to knock on wood. Bella does not mind the cold/snow...but she did not like the freezing rain...it was so funny. She looked at me like I was CRAZY! Did her job and ran back in...usually, I am fighting to get her back in the house. I was nervous if I was harming her by not putting anything on her when she goes out in the cold. Granted, I WON'T let her stay out even when she wants to. We will see when it is -40 which is coming soon! I wonder what she will think then....(I won't let her stay out...don't worry!!!) |

The Muttlucks did NOT stay on any of my dogs feet. But if you are going to take her out in the snow you probably should use some type of good boot. If it were me I would return then and talk to AllDogBoots. She is an expert at fitting boots and will work with you until you have a great fit. It's all in the fit....... |
Being in Germany with all of the snow and slate / granite stairs we had to order a deicer safe for their paws. Dog.com has one that we use all the time. It actually works better than the salt at deicing our stairs. Here is the link: Safe Paw Ice Melt - Dog.com |
Anyone have any reviews? Just picked these up today hope they work well they were a bit pricey at 45$ |
No sorry I can not help |
