Callie almost better update
Callie went to physical therapy today and they told her she graduated :) She still is not allowed to jump until the 16 (that's the 8 week mark) and then she can be back to her normal self and Sammy can come over! She sees the Orthopedic Surgeon on the 19th for an 8 week check as well. Then we can schedule a grooming and boy does Callie need it my mom says Sammy needs it terrible too but we just couldn't make him go by himself because sense my mom got him he has been going with Callie and they do so great together. Its nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel at least until the ACL starts showing problems in the other back leg. I Like walking Callie and it good for her but it will be nice that after the 16th if its 19 degrees in the morning I can say ok we can wait and either do it when it warms up or tomorrow. If I thought Callie was spoiled before I know she is super crazy spoiled now. My dad practically carriers her around all the time "so she can get out of her pen" he says and I also caught him breaking up her treats into smaller pieces because they were to big lol and we are talking about a big hairy scary looking guy. I already knew my mom, grandma and me spoiled her like crazy but it so funny to see my dad do it. They walked her for a long time today so she is moving slow and hurting a little but she was eating her dinner like a little piggie. I was having such a bad day it was so nice to go to this appointment and get good news. I hope the Orthopedic Surgeon is happy with her knee and thinks everything is great but I'm sure I will update you about that afterwords :D |
