ty Thank you just learning |
Welcome to YorkieTalk. :) Looking forward to seeing pictures of your little ones. |
Welcome. Obviously your little Yorkies exist. It's just that the term "teacup" is kind of frowned upon because people who breed to create the smallest of Yorkies have created some serious health problems in the little ones. While there is no actual official category called "teacup" in the Yorkie breed there certainly are many little Yorkies. I hope you will feel free to ask what ever questions you have openly. Sometimes you need to take some of the comments with a grain of salt but there are many here who will be happy to help you with whatever you need to know:). |
Welcome to you and your 3! Can't wait to see pictures...we love pictures here. :D |

Welcome to YT. Not every comment stated here was meant to be harsh or mean. Our fellow members here just tried to educate us on the fact that the term "teacup" is sometimes a marketing ploy. Of course there are smaller yorkies and there are also larger yorkies but they are not a separate breed. I have a co worker who refers to her sister's yorkie as a teacup, but I haven't corrected her yet. I plan to in a tactful way. I have learned a lot here and you will also. Again welcome. Sometimes typed words can be interpreted wrongly because we don't have the advantage of seeing facial expressions and hearing voice tones. Trust me there are some nice people here. |
