Wag That Tail 2 Attachment(s) I was reading the teapot thread and just loved it! Ladybug will be 6 months on January 6th and she was weighed about 3 weeks ago. 6.4 pounds she is. So I may be posting in that teapot thread soon! I thought it would be fun to see photos of full tailed yorkie babies. So I'll start with Ladybug showing off her happy little tail. Honestly speaking when I first got her I was dissapointed that her tail wasn't docked because I had never seen a yorkie with a full tail. But oh how I have grown to love it. I know the coloring will probably change but I'de love it to stay the way it is. Her tail is darker on the top....black / silver and underneath is the most beautiful carmel / gold color. Anyone else out there with a full tail??? Come on and post your pics!! |
Ladybug is so cute, I had never seen one with a full tail before but hers sure is cute. |
Can't wait to see the tails, our province passed legislation banning tail docking shortly after I got Harley, I wish he still had a tail. I can't believe how long they get. |

My little girl's tail is docked. I often wish it was not when I see that little stub of a tail wiggling a mile a minute. Dog's express so much with their tails. All your babies have beautiful tails. I have always thought that a tail is a terrible thing to waste! |
My Bella has a tail, as in the Atlantic provinces in Canada, it is illegal for vets to dock. I too was a little disappointed that she would have a tail. I didn't know what it would look like. I wish I knew how to post a photo because she has the most beautiful tail. It sits up over her back and fans out over her back. I actually think she looks better with a tail than without. I love it when I come home and she meets me at the door and that tail is wagging. |

I Love the beautiful tail ! Your dogs are adorable. All of you probably know, I think the AKC ought to allow dogs with natural tails and ears to be shown. I have been a big avvocate of The Natural Dog since 1986 ! Stop Breeding for extremes, Stop tail docking, Stop ear cropping. Top Priority should be Health & temperament. |

I didn't realize that so many of us had full tail yorkies....just adorable. It's makes my day to wake up and see that tail waving up a storm. |
We love full tails!! 4 Attachment(s) Brew's tail never stops! We are so glad the breeder didn't dock his. We love how much he speaks with it. i'll give a little progression of his tail growth... first pic is the first full day home. 2 months old. 2nd pic 3.5 months - you can't really see his tail because its wagging so fast but on close inspection you can see is whiping around with his uncle Roufus (they are the BEST of friends) 3rd is about 6th months 4th is just yesterday at 6 3/4 months...cuddled up with his tail after playing in the rain. love love love |
