7lbs at 5 months? 4 Attachment(s) Hello everyone! Harri is turning 5 months old in a couple of days, he went to the vets today and was weighed, he is 7lbs (3.2kg). I was just wondering if this was a normal weight? I know yorkie's come in all shapes and sizes but i was just curious :) It really doesn't matter how big he is to me, it means that there's more of him to love :p The vet didn't mention that anything was wrong with that, but he still seems so small to me, hardly 7 lbs worth of puppy!! As long as he's healthy and happy, that's all that matters to me though!! :aimeeyork (I can hardly believe he's 5 months old! It seems like yesterday i was bringing him home!) Thanks everyone! I've attached some pics so you can see how large he is :D |
AWWWW Harri is so cute. My late Lizzie at 5 1/2 months old she was a little over 7pounds. Her adult weight ended up being 11 1/2 pounds. Like you said just more to love. |
He probably going to gain a few more pounds so he is going to be a larger yorkie. That is still really small for a dog though. I have one that is 15 lbs and one that is 7 lbs and I prefer the larger weight actually. My Chachi is very much a dog able to do dog things in a small yorkie package and thats what I love about him. |
Harri is adorable and I agree "more to love". Wishing you and Harri and Happy and Healthy 2012 and beyond. |
Harri is just too cute! Our Bella was 7 lbs at 9 months old; she's now 11 lbs & we love her to bits! |
3 Attachment(s) Oh he reminds me of Jackson as a pup! He is now 16lbs at 3yrs old but was a pretty big boy. He was already 6lbs by 12 weeks old, lol. Here he was at 9 weeks - 4 1/2 months old - now |
