puppy stage or personality
 

Roscoe is so different from Sukie. He loves to be held and follow me around and at night he HAS to be by my chest but he only likes to be held for so long before he has to go see whats going on because he has this "I have to be in the action" type of personality. He is sweet and loving but independent unless I am am around.

Sukie on the other end has to be by me all the time... If I go to the bathroom she has to be there, if I am on the computer she is in my lap and so on. If I go outside she freaks out and starts to cry loudly until I come to her and bring her out with me. She always has to be by me and sleep in my arms otherwise she barks and cries like someone is trying to harm her... She isn't that way with anyone else in my house, in fact my hubby adopted her so she would bond with him as close as Roscoe is with me... The thing is though she acts like she needs me 24/7 and cant live without me... If she is by me she growls at anyone that even tries to touch me...

I am the one that walks them, feeds them, grooms them and so on... They are my babies... And to be honest I am glad she is this way LOL! But I am wondering if this a puppy stage or is this the way she is naturally... Roscoe wasnt like this as a pup.. he always wanted to explore but she doesnt unless I am exploring with her...

ETA: she is going to be 4 months on Jan 1st

Partly both. It's probably partly puppy stage and partly her personality. She sounds like she has a bit of separation anxiety going on. She will probably bond more with your other yorkie as time passes.

;)I am of the belief that all doggies have different personalities....enjoy them as they are...I lost my Lucky & now my Monique 3 days ago and am glad they had different ways...I loved them and they me...that's all that counts...Lucky passed at 13 1/2 and Monique who is a Maltese at 13 & 7 mos....Happy New Year...Lucky999
