He is a DOLL ! You both did a great job & he doesn't look stressed out at all. He looks as if he's been with you his whole life. He looks completely content, like he's rite where he belongs. Congratulations !

Seriously, the pics in the car driving home he looks like your old pal & he knows your his mama & he knows he's going home, finally. Some things just go rite or Perfect. Well whatever it is , he knows he's home.

My mom was happy that I got to see my dad. I took Bear over to meet her this morning. She said the same thing about the Christmas Miracle. I gouldn't have asked for a better gift than to get Bear and see my dad! I saw him last winter only for a funeral, and it had been 4 1/2 years before that!

Bear slept in our bed last night. He acted like he'd been there every night of his little life! It just amazes me how well he has adjusted! I got the " I told you so" from my mom. She knew I'd been looking for a new puppy and told me the right one would come along if it was meant to be. I guess it was. :D

My Lab woke us up in the middle of the night to go outside and he woke up and started scratching and rubbing his ears again. :( He also coughed a few times, so we got up and he took a drink and then went back to bed. I actually woke him up right before 7 to go potty and eat. It's great that he's housebroken! I couldn't have asked for a better puppy!:)

Bless his heart. His ears may have never been cleaned. The coughing is worrisome. Let us know what the drs say. Have a good day with your new friend.:)

That was the only time he's coughed since we got him so I hope it wasn't anything but it does have me concerned.

We are going to visit my aunt after the vet appt. and he'll probably be making his first trip to Petco if the vet thinks it's okay.:)

I'll update as soon as we get back home.

He's going to like the trip to Petco, but the vet's appt is probably still on the "I'd rather not go" list.:D

I doubt the poor little guy had ever seen a brush and comb either...how someone couldn't neglect such a sweet little boy is beyond me. And yet through all the neglect he has one of the best personalities in a puppy I have witnessed. He is just such a happy and playful boy. I am so glad that you saw his picture Stephanie, because I really believe Bear was destined to be yours:) Let us know how the vet visit goes.

The vet appt went well. Bear weighs 4lbs 9oz and is very healthy. He didn't have ear mites, just some yeast that we got drops for. His eyes and lungs were clear, knees were fine and he got a clean bill of health! Just one shot today, and he's goes back the 23rd for the last vaccines and neuter. I will be so glad when that's over!

I am so in love with this little boy and I think he feels the same about me! My friend Kelly met me at the vet. she tried to hold him but he whined for me! This was definitely a match made in Heaven!

I am so glad that you saw the FB posting and were able to contact the girl before anyone else go to him! I wouldn't have him if it weren't for you!:)

We didn't get to go to Petco. My vet wanted to make sure he had the last set of shots before he was exposed to other dogs that might not be vaccinated. We will make the trip after he recovers from the neuter. Then, we're going on a shopping spree!

I'm so glad he checked out fine at the vet's and it is just a yeast infection in his ears. He's definitely going to hold onto you now. I think he knows he's finally home.:)
