morgan ate some pills while I was giving my 14 yr old jrt her blood pressure meds sh dropped them and morgan got them so we called the vet right away and she had me give him a bunch of hydrogen peroxide and he threw up alot and we found the one pill but not the other one so we called the vet back and she did some research and thinks he should be okay but to keep an eye on him and she will call us tonight |
How scary! Hopefully, as per your vet, Morgan will be just fine. |
i will pray everything turns out ok!! |
Oh, I know you must be terrified...I'm so sorry this happened. Sending prayers your little will be just fine. |
thank you// so far he is just napping |
I hope he continues to do ok. |
I had a friend once that dropped her high blood pressure pills and her tiny poodle ate them. He was fine but she was a wreck! Hope your fur baby will be ok. |
I think you may want to wake him up every 15 minutes or so and try to keep him active so the drug will pass from his system quicker. But do ask your vet when she calls back. Prayers for your little one... My one female loves meds... she's not on anything but my other one is and it's a constant worry that this scenario will be repeated here. She's so bad about meds I've nicknamed her 'The Junkie' lol. |
Checking back to see how Morgan is doing. Praying all will be well with your little one. |
Hope everything goes ok |
Had a similar experience once- called animal poison control and they told me what to watch for- everything turned out fine. |
I hope that Morgan is doing alright... |
hoping that all is well with Morgan. |
This is my daily nightmare! I am so so so so careful because Angel puts EVERYTHING in her mouth. If something hits the floor she is on it like lightning. I will not even let her in the room when Hubby is taking his pills. Please keep us posted. Good thoughts coming from our house. |
I think you acted fast enough to get the mess out his system...so I hope all is well Please keep us updated |
