Chewy's losing his berries!
 
OK, so this Friday I am finally neutering Chewy - well, not myself, but you know... He was supposed to go a while back but my vet's brother died so she had to reschedule. I am really nervous for my little bug and don't know what to expect when I bring him home.

Please think of Chewy and any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I know how you feel!!! Tucker is getting it done tomorrow! :( I'll be thinking about Chewie! Oh, I heard onesies are great for after the surgery!

I'll keep Chewy and Tucker in my thoughts this week. I know that they will both be perfectly fine and most likely they will be running around the house when you bring them home ... at least that's what Codie did. Codie sends them both hugs and kisses and wishes them good luck!

Thanks guys! Megan, I know Tuck will do fine. My little man is 9 months old now and he is starting to hump a lot. The other day he was up on the couch with me and my son and I noticed that he was HUMPING THE BOY'S LEG!!!!! I didn't let him know, but I took Chewy off the couch quick, snap! This really is in the nick of time! Poor guy is going to mope around the whole weekend :(

Chewy and Tucker will both do just fine. Chachi did alot better than Jewels. He didnt even act like anything had been done. Jewels shook the whole night when we brought her home.

I can't believe poor little Jewels! Chewy is kind of a wimp. I guess I spoil him too much. I think he might do the same :rolleyes:

Thanks for the support. I didn't think I would be this nervous and now that it's here, I'm shaking...wonder where he gets his wimpiness from!

Chewy will do great! Lucky didn't even bother his incision. The stitches were on the inside. I thought beforehand it would be a fight to keep him off it, but it wasn't. Good luck! And Lucky sends puppy kisses & hugs Chewy's way! :)

Well when I think 'Chewy' I think "Jelly Beans"..lolol..

I made my vet laugh go in hysterics when he was evaluating a litter of boy pups from my first litter and I ask calmly 'Do they have both 'jelly beans?'"

PLEASE keep us posted when he goes in and you KNOW we'll be praying for Chewie....He'll be just fine and the hardest part was the waiting....it really does drag by

OH MAN, Not the Berries...lol. JK... It is never easy to let our babies, to through things like this. :( So, I will keep Chewy and Tucker in my thoughts and prayers this week. A "Speedy Recovery" to the Both of you will guys!!! :p

Thanks everyone for the encouragement! My son keeps joking that the vet is going to karate chop his berries off!!! He says it with such delight, it's a little disturbing :D . Last night my friend came over and she said they look like 2 calamata olives...this poor dog, if only he knew what we were saying!

I'm hoping and praying that little Chewie will do great through the surgery and that he has a speedy recovery! I'm sure he will!!! Hugs to you!!!
