If I had read this thread a few months ago, I probably would not have a furbaby. Hahaha! I've been joking with my kids that I survived 3 babies and didn't become a morning person and here I am with a puppy up at 6am. I'm hoping he will outgrow this and get on board with the family routine of sleeping As.Late.As.Possible! |

I get woken up anywhere from 10:30-12:30... most of the time I have to wake THEM up! |
Maggie just got put in her crate, but she's been sleeping on her window ottoman since about 10:30. She went potty around 10:15 and she will sleep until about 10am or possibly longer. If she were to hear two of us up at the same time, talking and stuff, she would hear us and want to come out earlier. Sometimes she will stay in there until 11. I have a baby monitor that I don't really use anymore but I used it when she was younger and got up earlier. (she turns 2 this month). If I turn it up I sometimes hear her moving around, adjusting her blankets or doing her morning scratch. Some days I open the cage and she just looks at me with a "why are you bothering me" face. I'm glad we opted for the crate downstairs or I'm sure she'd up on an early schedule even on the weekends, because hubby gets up early during the week. He is so sweet that he tried not to wake her because he knows she will be wanting in and out of our room once he leaves, this way I get to sleep later. |

Molly wakes us up anytime from 7.00 am onward. She woke up a couple of times at 5.30 but I left her to moan she eventually settled down untill her usual time but when I went to get her up she had pooped in the crate :( I now don't feed her after 7.00 at night. She and Lilly cuddle up and snooze on my lap from about 7.00 pm till 10.00 then I take then to toilet then into the crate for bed. They are both 14 weeks |
My dexter wakes up around 8 and barks a bit, but if no one comes he'll wait until 9 or later. He's great! Always sleeps through the night :) |
Gracie is not a morning person. She sleeps with me and has her own stairs to get up and down off the bed. Usually she sleeps in especially if she has had to check on the cat's activity later in the evening. I guess that once she is "off duty" she doesn't really care what happens! |
3 of mine use to sleep until I woke up but I got Sassy 18 months ago and she wakes me up at 12-1 A.M. no matter how much sleep she has. She hates to be away from me. I usually get up and go back to sleep on the couch until I get up for work. |

Kia was getting up at 5:30, thinking time to eat. I took her out but didn't feed her until I got back out of bed at 7. Now she got the hang of it, cuz she sleeps until 6:45 at least, but I still feed her at 7. She will also start getting hyper about 5 pm, she knows that's her feeding again. It's funny cuz she will keep jumping up and down my chair until I get up. Bella on the other hand, our 2 year old Shih Tzu, will sleep until I get out of bed where before we brought the puppy home until 11 somedays. Bella sleeps most of the days too on and off, she is lazy. Hoping Kia will take after her sooner then late. Kia will take a morning nap, then by 1pm, another nap while the daycare kids nap, then she's full play until about 8, then it's time to sleep all night. I take outside before I go to bed at 10 pm though. |
Sadie and Scooter will sleep as long as I do but Thor, Little Bit and Molly are morning dogs. They are up with the sun and go to bed at 10om every night. |
My guys start at 6:30 am. They go to bed at 10 pm. They are pretty good girls and boys..... |
Hailey, our pup who is now 16 wks old, gets me up between 6-7 in the morn. sleeps all nite in a bed in her pen next to my bed which is HEAVEN. takes a few naps during the day and then around 8-9 falls asleep until the next morn. she is a devil when awake....very active....well she's a puppy, right? but when she falls asleep she is an absolute angel :) |
This week CoCo has been wanting to sleep in the bed with me and my BF lately, so of course I let her. On nights that he comes over, he takes her out when he gets in - around 11:00 - 11:30pm. She will sleep until 7:00am IF I stay in the bed. But during the week, I get up at 6:00am, to get ready for work so I take her out then. She gets back in the bed with her daddy and wakes him up around 8:30 to go out. I love it. |
