Oz sleeps most of the night completely under the covers in our bed. He is always laying on or under some kind of blanket. Seems to me he's a little furnace, so likely get really cold even in normal room temperatures. |
My Dexter HAS to be under a blanket. He can be very annoying! He'll dig at you, paw at you and restless jump over you until you put a blanket down... once he's under it, he settles right down. Its so strange. Fletcher can take it or leave it, he likes going under the covers in bed at night, but I often wake up with him on top of the covers... but Dexter's motto is 'the hotter the better' there are many times I take him out from under the covers because its soooo hot, I'm afraid he's going to get sick or something. |

ours love to be snuggled under blankets !!! But what they love more is to have there beanie bags heated in the microwave i make them out of flax seed and left over material and they coming running at bed time or when ever they here the microwave . lol |
Yep....Daisy sleeps under the covers and her body must always be touching me, even when we are on the couch watching tv. |
what a cute thread, love all the answers. my ollie sleeps on top of the blankets on the bed, couch, or on doggie bed, always needs to be in a comfy warm spot. when im in bed then he swats me with his paw & i lift the covers so he can get underneath & he sleeps between my legs. he is hysterical & sooo cute. needs my help often & will hit me with his paw to get it, isn't he smart:):) |

Gracie gets cold easily and likes to snuggle. She loves to go all the way under the blankets and sleep. Sometimes she will be under there for an hour or two and then come up for air. Sometimes she just wants to be close have no idea why she likes to go under the blanket because it certainly is not that cold in here but she enjoys it so if she is comfortable it's fine with me. |
I use to have a Chihuahua and Min-Pin at the same time, and it was the Min-Pin that was the blankie baby. Seems that breed all love their blankies more than a little!! ;) The Chi loved her soft little bed, but wasn't into blankies at all. My Yorkettes all sleep on top of covers. None will go under them at all, but they love blankies, so I have them all over. |
Elvis used to hide under blankets...until Derik's big butt almost killed him ( not really). Elvis no longer goes under blankets. |
Keyra does both under and on top but I notice she started this new thing. If she naps in the day and isn't in her burrowed crate with blankets she sets herself lol. She covers her eyes with her paws and sleeps lol I guess the light is too bright hahaha its too cute but its her new thing :p |
My Female Becca is a little MOLE ! Usually after dinner when we're watching TV, She starts plowing under and through the Blankets, and delights when I reach down and push on Her or somewhere close. She REALLY gets with it then, trying to catch the intruder. My Male Sneakers used to do that too, but in the past year or so, I suppose he's sorta grown up, and leaves that to "His" Puppy/Sister (Becca). I have several very nice Beds, with nice Pillows all over the house, but, My two would MUCH rather sleep in one of the old holey rag-blankets. What can I say, they're both little Ruffians. |
Vivi, my Min Pin, absolutely loves to get under the covers. Piccolo, my Yorkie, never goes under the covers, I think she gets hot with all her long hair. Isn't it interesting how all dogs are different in the preferences? |
