That really may help also. I dont want you to think he is going to be aggressive because he may not. We have had a couple of incidents where Chachi has bit my daughter. We corrected him and did some training with him and we havent had an incident in 3 yrs. I know it is scary when they do bite though especially when its a young child. It is definitely not a reason to give up on him and get rid of him and Im not directing this to you but the other poster that said he was just an animal. You have the right attitude about it and Im sure you will get this under control

It's thoughts such as these that directly contribute to the overflowing animal shelters. Responsible dog owners and parents WORK ON the problem, not just chuck it at the first sign of trouble. Everything that can be done, is being done.

Wow. You must be stressed out! Sorry you are going through this. You must feel terrible. I hope you find a trainer or training method that works for you soon. Good luck.

Oh, this has got to be a devastating situation. Im with the others when they say maybe look into getting a trainer. I wish I had better advice.

Obviously you chose the wrong site to join because I feel that most of us here believe our yorkies are our kids. I for one can say I have one human child and one fur child. And just saying give your dog away says alot about your character. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Ok guys we took a trip to Corbin today and they gave me 3 books to read plus Tibbs will start classes 2 days a week 1 week after his neuter. Im going to work with him home until then Im excited to start working on this. Wish me luck guys!

Tibbs has been doing good for his first day he sit before he ate and even stayed when I opened my bedroom door and he usually darts in there because he knows he's not allowed!
