I think with both of my boys there was an element of luck relative to potty training.
The only things I can recommend are close supervision, anticipating needing to go potty (vigorous play or excitement usually bring on the urge) and frequent trips outside.
Be sure to praise for good potties always. I also taught my boys "no potty there" on our walks to keep them away from people's flowers and garbage cans because they love to mark everything outside.
If you want extra insurance when visiting another home, you could use doggy panties. |
