Callie went to the physical therapist
 
Ok I'm sure every one is tired about hearing about Callie and her surgery but we went to the physical therapist today and I wanted to update every one. She thinks Callie is doing pretty good because she is walking on it. They put her on a treadmill with water a little higher then her tummy and she walked for 5 minutes. She only stopped walking once and rode the treadmill back. We will be going once a week for awhile. She now has to do 5 minute walks. They also gave me some stretches to do with her. The physical therapist said the total recovery will be about 10 weeks total so that's about 7 more weeks. Callie sometimes gets a little tired of the play pen but is doing pretty darn good :)

That's great news! And it sounds like she's a pro in the water tank! Eddie hated it, and rode it to the back regularly. If memory serves, 5 minutes is a long stretch! That will really help her, though. She'll be strong as ever in no time!

Oh, and you are REQUIRED to get a video of her in the tank and post it here! ;)

oh never tooo tired for you to come to YT and talk about the babies that no one else understands about!!! glad callie is doing well and has the light just some weeks away. my dauthers middle name is cali. i wish i had given it as a first name!! sending fast recovery love ur way!

and when i say no one else understands about people think im crazy how much i love my babies.....hello i like them more than some humans! sorry just wanted to clarify as to not hurt any yorkie mummy daddy feelings....i love mine like my baby. PERIOD.

Thanks everyone. Callie got to show off how she puts her shirt on mostly by herself (people like to watch that for some reason lol) and the physical therapist loved Callie's eyes she kept saying stuff about them like look at her pretty brown eyes.

Im glad Callies doing so well with physical therapy. My Chachi walks on a treadmill too but not too long. We just started it a week ago

We are looking into getting Callie a treadmill because the weather is getting so darn cold and I know it will be difficult to walk her in the snow and ice that I'm sure will eventually be here and I don't need her slipping on ice.

You have got to get a video of this! Glad Callie has taken to the treadmill... praying she makes a speedy and successful recouperation...

PS: Her PT is right about her brown eyes :D

Yay Callie! So glad she is doing good! And you give all the updates you want hon! I know I sure enjoy reading about her progress and keeping a check on her. I know how it is to love them so much! We all love Callie too and love to hear when she is doing better! Way to go Callie! :)

Thanks guys I love yall :) Callie is doing great with her 5 minute walks and loves being able to sniff her yard again. My grandpa bought us a doggy treadmill that will be coming in soon. He felt how cold me and Callie are when we come in from our walk and said he thinks its gonna be way to cold for us to be out there when it goes to 10 minute walks and up. I could have done what I had to but was getting worried about if we get snow and ice.
