Yorkie Growth Hi Greetings from freezing London. Can someone tell me when a Yorkie Pup is fully grown. Have read most dogs reach fully grown in 12/18 months. but have also heard yorkies can take longer. any help appreciated :) |
I guess many pups are different but with my Cody, his weight plateaued at 8-9 months and stayed the same until about 18-20 months when he gained a little. He's almost 2 and his weight has stayed the same for several months. |
I believe my two were around 9 months when their bodies stopped growing, but they filled out a little more after one year. |
hi...mine is 4.75 lbs at almost 8 months old and have been told he is close to done. his dad is 4.5 lbs in total and he look just like him so im thinking were close to done. we need to see a pic of your baby!! |
They usually stop growing at a year old, but their in organs don't mature till they are 18 months. They also bulk up muscle from a year till 18 months as well. |
Pita is 10.5 months and has stayed about the same for a month now. She is so slender but weighs 9 lbs. She is very active so I think its muscle. ;) |
