At what age did your
 
Wee one know her name? Just curious. I have an 11 week old and I know she is young and I know they can head strong, but just curious as to know when do they really respond to their name. I am not really expecting much from her at this age, but I am just curious.

I think I remember Uni starting to learn tricks at 4 months, so I would assume she knew just her name before that. We got her at 12 weeks, so maybe a month into it? These little guys are so smart though, so even a few days would be believable to me.

I think Princess knew hers very soon after getting her at 9.5 wks. I remember we were at my parents & my sis asked me if she knew so I called all the other dogs in the same tone & she responded when I said hers.

Your pup will get it soon, never underestimate these little yorkies.:D

ZoE knew her name by the end of the first week. I took the first few weeks I had her off work though, so I was with her 24/7 and said her name ALOT.

I actually think she may know her name 65% of the time and 35% of the time she chooses to ignore me!LOL

Sophie Kate falls into the 65% catagory also and she is 3 years old. I know she is full on ignoring me (like when she is chasing the cat).

We got Silver at 6wks (Yes I know bad, but it's before I knew better) and she knew her name in the first week. But then again I am home all the time so like a previous poster I was saying her name a lot.

Prissy knows her name and I've had her for 2 weeks,,she is so smart, well I actually think she may be a genius,,REALLY...:)

We got Katie Scarlett when she was 12 weeks. She knew her name by the end of that first week I would say.

It definitely took at least a few weeks for Daisy to know her name...I remember us looking at each other and being like, "uhhh, is she ever going to respond to us?" lol But she got the hang eventually and now when I call her name she perks right up and looks.

But we also started saying her name a million times a day until we were sure she got it!!
