I like looking at craigslist ads. Not buying, just looking and I saw this. This little guy looks scared to me. I hope he finds a good home.

they sure could have picked a better photo but I agree maybe he doesn't like his picture taken

I'm being seriously judgmental here, but he looks recently groomed, a bandanna around him like they do on all the pup mill and Greeder sites for "glamor pics" his legs is sideways, and is ears are back while he's up against something.

My dogs growl at my camera they don't like the flash or the red light but they don't put their ears back and cower in fear...check my profile you'll see Elvis and Scoobers snarling at the camera.
It's hilarious.

I want to see a dog running chasing a ball-not wearing jewelry!

Show me the puppy learning to walk on a leash-not in doll furniture!

Can I see it snuggling on it's bed-not posed in s faux setting!

Seriously if someone really ws to be honest they'd post videos in the least, easily faked too but you see how the dog responds.

I would any-day choose a breeder who shows me puppy/dog out in the yard rolling in mud playing with them that freshly groomed and snapped a pic of wearing junk costume jewelry with a tacky sheet used as a pretend back drop-c'mon if I want a Sear special photo shoot of the puppy/dog I'd do it myself.

Sorry I totally ranted, but it seems these days you either see pathetic conditions with pictures of puppy/dogs being sold or these lame glamor poses you know when the back drop falls you'll be disgusted with what's behind it.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU! As someone who has been rescueing abused dogs for over 25+ years, Imho, this poor baby is scared to death and it's not of the camera!!! If you notice how the picture is taken from overhead, this is a clear indication to me that the poor thing is afraid of WHO is behind the camera, not the camera itself! Someone standing over the top of him scares him to death! I would even venture to guess maybe has been beat! A dog that is secure and happy will have the ears up and forward, even if camera shy. This is the look my Penny has 90% of the time even though I have worked with her over 8 years to relieve her anxieties. Some babies never get over the fear of being whipped and screamed at! I wish he was near me, I would take him in a minute, fears and all!!!:animal-pa

YOU SAID IT! POOR BABY! The more I look at his pic, the more I want to rescue him. Looking beyond the fear in his eyes, I see a smart, loving little pet there! He will make someone a wonderful loving companion, and I hope for his sake, they find him really soon. This is breaking my heart and now I can't get him out of my mind! Looks as if OP is having the same problem!

OMG, HE IS IN ALABAMA!!!! I'm not really sure where Atmore is though. Never been good with a map. I'm also on limited funds and wonder how I could get him here as well as pay adoption fee. It's at times like this that I REALLY hate being disabled! :(
