Purses to carry your pups in I really want to get a new purse to carry Furgie in. I am curious to what purses everyone has/use. I want to have mesh sides for good air circulation and so Furgie can see whats going on. I want it to look like a purse, not a dog carrier. Can you post pics of your purse, possibly with your pup in it as well? Thanks!!!!! |
1 Attachment(s) Here's a Kwigy Bo Alex bag in black with ZoE in it when she was a puppy. It looks like a regular purse and with the flaps down, I've taken her everywhere from a store to restaurant to movie theatre :D. |
I have a Brighton. It's gorgeous. Brighton.com The mesh is not nearly as transparent as it indicates in the photo. |
Those are both so cute! I need a bag for Katie Scarlett but have been hesitant. They are so pricey!!! I am thinking of asking for one for Christmas. |
I know! I love both of them too!!! Thanks for sharing! |
Unless your pups are really teenie tiny, I would recommend you get the large if you go with a KB. I initially got the small as ZoE was a puppy and regreted it. While $140ish isn't alot to spent on a purse...it stinks when you feel like you just threw $$ away cos you end up buying the same thing, only bigger, later. |
Good point, I was thinking the large one would be better :) |
If you're more trendy, then the Kwigy Bo is def the way to go. I really like the luxe ones, but Uni doesn't do well in bags so I never got one. Ryan is the one to get on from if you do. RD911 (I think that's his screen name). I usually don't like Brighton but that carrier is really classy looking. The only thing I'd be concerned of the Brighton is the weight. Their bags are really heavy bc they use real leather and silver. In addition to the weight of the pup, it could get heavy. The KB are lightweight bc they don't use real leather. |
zack and zoey also have purse-like carriers on ebay, i saw some really cute ones :) |

I have two KB Alex bags and love them. My pups have been everywhere (literally) and do really well. I have both the gold luxe and putty and they are both great for hiding the pups or letting them stick their heads out in more pet friendly places. |
I agree with several posters who recommend getting a larger bag. We were told that Romeo would be somewhere between 7 - 9 lbs and I purchased a very expensive Juicy Couture pet carrier. Needless to say I used it twice and it's now tucked away in the closet because he is "too large" for the bag. P.S. If anyone is interested, it's a black Juicy Couture pet carrier and I'll take the best offer -- originally paid $298 -- and only used twice. Send me a PM and I'd be happy to provide pictures. |
I also have a Kwigy Bo for Lucy. I have a black one, and a pink one is coming soon. Lucy loves it, and no one can tell that there is a dog inside. I agree with the other posters. Ryan is the best to deal with. Hope you find the perfect bag for your baby! |
LOL no one will know there's a dog inside, unless it's Uni and she's screaming at the top of her lungs to get out. |
We love our Kwigy Bo! Pam |
