Sounds like her home is with you. With all you have done, I would think that if anyone was looking for her they would have contacted you. I am happy to see she has found a place to be loved and looked after. I am also glad to see Capone is adjusting. :) Maddie had a hard time when we rehomed Cooper. She pouted for days, then went through an aggressive stage, then eventually realized things were not so bad and she enjoyed the company and playmate. We will see how she does with the baby next week. eek :p |

I am so upset with my vets office. I took Frenchy to the vet Friday to get vaccinated and checked out. I had already called and explained the situation weeks before and they told me to bring her in and I should probably keep her by now, etc. But when I brought her in they questioned me over and over again about finding her and took her to the back and scanned her and didn't tell me until later in the appointment. (I had her scanned at a different vet closer to my house and petsmart). They kept saying things like you found such a great dog, etc. I didn't think much of it until today I get a call from a lady saying I have her dog. She called my personal cell number and the number I put on all flyers and in the paper was my work cell number. She claimed she got my info from home again but there is no way home again would have my info and she said her dog was a bichon, microchipped, and had brown in her tail. I told her I.do not believe this is her dog and to send me a pic of her dog. It wasn't her dog, but I know she had to get my info from the vet. Why would my vet do something like that? Give my info to a stranger and I explained all the effort I put into finding the owners. I've used that vet for 3 years and thought I would have had more trust in them. |
Call the vet and tell them what happened-just say she told you they gave her the information and you want to know who gave out your information specifically-then also let them know it was for the wrong lost dog. I would hope the reason was to reunite a lost dog with it's actual owner-seems the wires were crossed somewhere. |

I talked to the Home Again lady for about 2 hours when registering my pound dumpee dog and she gave me all the previous lady's information-how many dogs were registered to her over how many years and where the dogs were getting registered...some people have no understanding of privacy but then again it often has to do with their perception of the situation-this is how I found out my Scoobers was in fact pup mill puppy. |
