Annie getting Spayed. Oh my... Annie goes on Monday to get spayed. I am a little nervous. Just scary knowing what they are going to do. I know everything will probably be OK, but I am a nervous Nelly. |
I hope all goes well! I will say a prayer for you guys! |
Will keep you and Annie in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure everything will be fine, but do understand the worrying. |
I know how you feel. I have been through it twice with my two girls. I was on pins and needles!! You should have seen me dropping Mikki off. I think I asked 1000 questions. But she did just fine! Annie will be just fine too!! She will be sleepy when she gets home but with in a day or two she will be back to her old self! We will keep you in our prayers. It will be ok momma. Keep us updated. |
Putting Annie on my Monday prayer list. Hugs for nervous Deb too. |
She'll be fine. You? Not so much! If it's any consolation, I walked out of the vet's office crying after I left Kacee to be spayed. |
I think it is harder on us moms than it is on them (the worrying part). I will keep little Annie and you in my prayers. |
If its any consolation, most of the people who work at veterinary clinics love love love love your dogs. And usually spoil them and love on them as much as possible! When little dogs come in while im at work, i hold them and carry them around with me as much as possible. Lots of little dogs are nervous when put into kennels, and i usually hold them before their surgery that way they can relax. I also give them lots of big cushy blankets so they are warm and comfy. Anyway, i think alot of people dont realize the veterinary technicians love your little dogs alot more than you think and do all they can to make the day less stressful for them. Anyway thats how we are at my clinic. We also treat each and every single pet as though it was our own, cause we know how it feels when its our own dogs. |
Thanks so much everyone for your thoughts and prayers!!! The vet tech at Annies clinic is amazing. She is her temporary Mom when we have to go out of town. So that helps a little but I am still concerned. Will be glad when it is all over. Here is a couple questions...... Do we have to worry about her going up and down stairs? We have a four level house and we have stairs everywhere. Also, do we have to make sure she doesn't jump? She loves to jump on the furniture. She just beboops all over the house. They will probably answer all these questions in the morning but thought I lover hearing from other Yorkie parents better. Thanks for all your advice.:thumbs up |
How did it go? Stairs are okay as long as she doesnt run up and down. No jumping on furniture!! |

Thanks for your support. Annie made it through the spay OK and everything went well. She was quite the baby and we are giving her a lot of loves. They had to give her extra pain meds as she was whining and crying so much. She didn't even want to get up. This helped her for a while then when she woke up she was trembling and crying. They said this is from all the meds they gave her. She just barely got up and ate for the first time and it's after 9:00. I feel really sorry for the poor baby. It is really hard watching her. I just hope tomorrow will be a better day for her. |
poor little girl!!! its hard to seem them in pain, i hate it. But she should feel better soon!!! |
