Finally found out the puppy we have been waiting for is ours!!

We were the 3rd pick of the litter out of 3 puppies and ended up with the little girl we wanted. She was 6 weeks yesterday so it will be a little while before she can come home but we are so excited. We lost our little Ella in August to a liver shunt :( so it will be nice to have another little face in the house to love!!

I am patiently waiting for a Girl Yorkie, I have waited for years to be in a position to be able to have one. as I am now home on disability so have all the time in the world to look after and train her. I researched various breeders in the area & one not in the area, and the one I settled with ticks all the boxes for me. The thing is, the last 2 litters have produced only one female, which the breeder was keeping to breed herself eventually. So now I play the hurry up and wait game lol. Probably spring now I'm guessing. But I have waited this long, I can wait a bit longer. I don't want to settle for what I don't want just so I have a Yorkie. I am so outnumbered by Males in my family, I have 4 son's and most of my ll grandchildren are males lol. I already have a name for her,she will be called "Abby" not 100% on the spelling yet as here are so many variations. but I love the name it's so Yorkie to me :-) I am so delighted for you EllaJoy, I know the feelings of excitement of becoming a Mom to a Yorkie puppy, may you have many years of fun and love with her. Are you buying her a Christmas outfit ?

The waiting is hard but it will be worth it when you find the right baby for you. I am counting the weeks till this little one can come home! So far for names we are down to Emma - Torie - Lucy or Maya. I have 9 and 12 year old daughters who get to decide with me!!

OMG!!! :eek: She is adorable. What a beautiful little face. Such a sweetie!!. I know that little girlie will be loved, and loved by your girls. Her little feet will probably never touch the ground because they will hold her all the time :D

So sorry about your little Ella. So sad. I'm sure she is bouncing around in Heaven because she knows the love this new little one will get.

Congratulations! I know you must be excited beyond words, but six the next few weeks will pass quickly and your new baby will be home before you know it!
