Isn't it funny? LOL! Well guys we have had Katie Scarlett almost a month! Man, how time flies!!! In this time, I still get cracked up at her. She follows me everywhere. Even if she is sleeping and I try to lightly sneak out to use the restroom, she wakes up and follows me. She thinks she has to be there when I shower, when I fix my hair, when I put on makeup, while doing laundry, washing dishes, etc. You name it and she's right there by my side! She is so funny! It's like my own personal watch dog. She is always by Mommy's side making sure she is ok. Before I got a dog, I never ever thought I would let my dog in the bathroom with me. I was thinking I need privacy, but oh no, that all goes out the window when she looks at me. I always was one of those people who saw puppies/dogs licking their owners on the face with those puppy kisses and though 'Ewwww! That is so gross!' Now, guess who loves to get those sweet puppy kisses?! Me! I just can't believe how much she has changed me, changed our lives in the short time she has been here! I sure do love this little girl! I can't imagine life without her and she always makes me smile!!! Has your Yorkie changed you too?!!! :) |
For sure! I used to say my dog would never sleep in my bed and that he would have to sleep in his crate. He is crate trained, BUT he sleeps in my bed!!!!! |
My two have changed both DH and I. We always had big breeds when my boys were growing up, so these are our first little ones. DH attitude amazes me the most as he is a germaphobic maniac 1. Jada gets to kiss him goodbye every morning. 2. We call ourselves Mommy and Daddy (yes even DH calls himself daddy) 3. If they miss the pee pad, DH never says a word. 4. He talks baby talk to them. 5. It was his idea after having Jada for a couple of months to get Bogie, because his little girl was lonely during the day. 5. We never go anywhere on our days off because we would have to leave the babies. 6. DH never says they have to many clothes or toys..he just comments on how cute something is if it is new. Yep they have changed our lives completely...for the better:) |
We agree with everything that has been said. I had to grovel to my daughter in law as before we had fur babies I threatened to smack her fur baby :( if anyone touched either of mine I would kill them !! Xx |
This is known as true puppy love and we all got it bad! I can't imagine a life without Tibbe being in almost every scene. When he was gone most of the day having his dental last week, I missed his room-filling presence, his happiness, his positive bouncing around and all his little (and big) noises and nosy-parker ways so much I couldn't believe it! My whole day was strange without that little toot sticking his tiny little nose into everything I did - it just was strange and unreal. And the longer we live with them the dearer they become and it is a true testament to that love when you notice the first time they let you do something by yourself that you stop what you are doing to go check on your baby, just a little hurt that he or she wasn't there. That independent person you used to be has now become totally dependent on the presence of a tiny, four-legged tan and blue/black/gray furball by your side in all you do! So, welcome to the club! |
Yes you might as well get used to it you will never have alone bathroom time again. Yorkies are the best thats for sure |
YES! And for the better! I can't imagine my life without my sweet little girl. She goes with me to work, and just about everywhere else. I find myself thinking about her if I can't take her along and start watching the clock. I hate being apart from her. I just miss her too much. She also follows me everywhere. She scratches at the bathroom door if it's closed. She snuggles up on my bathroom rug when I shower. If I get up in the night and I take to long coming back to bed she comes and finds me. I love waking up to her little face everyday! Her sweet kisses in the morning are my favorite. I love snuggling with her night and love that she has to by my side:) I love when she stretches her paws out on my arm and kisses my cheek. I love hearing her bell jingle around the house, it is almost like it animates her even more. I love her constant obsession with balls and how she is constantly dropping one in my lap. I love how she likes to stand on my shoulder or curl up on the back of the couch by my neck. I catch myself staring at my little angel thinking how luck I am to have her. Yes! She has changed me:) She is my best friend! |
