over active bladder? I have a four month old yorkie and she drinks a lot and pees even more. I don't ever know when to take her out, which makes housebreaking very difficult. I use training pads but nothing is working. She's also really sneaky and if I turn around for a second she'll pee. Should I be concerned? :confused: |
Sounds like we are on the same boat. hahaha Toki was really good and potty training was not so bad as a male dog. Now Pebbles is the only one that i can't train her on the pad. She goes everywhere she can pee every 10 minutes and she's only 4 months old. I took away her water at night and it did control the peeing. |
My Yorkie is 3 months old and pee'd every hour or so when I first got him. Now he goes two hours or more without peeing. This is good and bad. I had more luck taking my puppy to the pee pad and getting him to pee when he went more often. Now - with him peeing only every couple of hours - it's harder for me to get him at the right time. Now - I'm taking him to his pad all the time, and he doesn't have to go. Then, I miss it when he does. However, he still will use it on his own occasionally. Carol Jean |
Nelly is 4 months old as well. She still has a few accidents in the house but for the most part she does use her pee pad and I usually try to put her outside every 1/2 hour-1 hour it seems to be working, gradually. I am finding though that she will not use the pads for her poops, she only has a pooping accident about once a day which is not to bad. When I clean up outside there are alot of her poops out there so I guess she is doing very well. When she does go inside on something other than the pee pad she knows she has done something wrong because when I find it she tries to hide from me. I find it hard to believe that she can do tricks at this age but still cannot understand when she has to go to the bathroom. |
