A new baby boy!
 

Hello! I haven't been on here in a while, been too busy! So, like I've been saying forever, my fiance and I have been on the search for a baby boy to add to the family :) Well.....we found one a few weeks ago, and we have him fully paid off now so it is official! He comes home tomorrow night! We have been working relentlessly to ready ourselves for his homecoming! So excited! We already know Dolce gets along with him perfectly, the breeder let us bring Dolce along for a few of the visits so we could make sure they didn't hate each other lol. The only concern I have at this point is getting the cats used to a baby in the house again. My cats take a while to get used to new family members, or any new animal in the house. Especially my female kitty. For some reason, she is very territorial and jealous. I think she just barely started to be good friends with Dolce a couple months ago, and she is already a year old! I think after a few weeks she will tolerate the puppy, but it will take a while for friendships to form between them.....thats the only thing that worries me. Other than that, we are SUPER excited that he is officially coming home with us!

Still haven't decided on his name yet. We have a few choices though. Bentley, Louis (like Louis Vuitton lol), Armani, Eddie (Ed Hardy), Oscar (Oscar de la Renta), or Fendi. Notice a trend? lol. My cat's names are Coco (Coco Chanel) and Georgie(Giorgio Armani) and then there's Dolce (Dolce & Gabbana). Trying to keep it in the theme of things lol. Anyway, I will post pictures as soon as I bring him home and have a mini "new family" photo shoot :)Yay!:aimeeyork:aimeeyork:thumbup::):):D:D

I can't wait to TAKE pictures! lol! We have pics on our phones, but I'm not sure how to put them to the computer from the phone. I'm not that high tech haha.
This puppy is technically supposed to be my fiance's baby, cuz he said he wanted a boy in the house to even out the number of boys to girls ratio haha, but I think I'm pretty sure I'm just a teeny more excited than he is haha. I just hope Dolce doesn't get jealous though. Any tips on bringing a new pup home to a jealous sister? (by jealous i mean, when she sees the cats coming to my lap or me petting the cats she has to push them out of the way and be closer to me than they are and will annoy them until they just get fed up and leave lol she doesn't bite or growl or anything)

Just make sure that Dolce gets everything first, so she doesn't feel displaced and get too jealous. Fed her first, pet her first, greet her first when you get home, etc. Good Luck and looking forward to pictures!

Thanks guys! So we brought him home last night and he did very well for his first night. Only had whining fits twice! I'd say that is pretty good haha. Oh, and we decided on the name Bentley :) As soon as I find my camera cord, I will put up all the new pics!
