Stinky!! What can you give for smelly stinky gas? Rosie has had horrible gas the last two days! I haven't changed foods or anything! I don't have a clue why she is doing this. We don't usually have too much of an issue with it. Even though she is stinking me out of house and home, I worry it may be bothering her too!? Any suggestions!!!? |
Oh my! That is a predicament! Being a newbie, I have no clue. I haven't heard Katie Scarlett have this issue yet. I hope someone can help you out though! Bless you! |
Well, you can give infant gas drops (obviously only the direction of a vet and if they think it is okay with her intestines the way they are, etc.). But I would be concerned that it is bothering her. I wouldn't let it go on for too long before consulting her dogtor. |
Gosh I don't know either, but seems I read somewhere on here once about the infant gas drops, I think Mylicon?? I would call my vet and ask what would be safe to use. Has Rosie ever had issues with gas before? I know she has a very sensitive tummy. edit to add Sorry I was talking to my mom when I posted and didn't read Crystal's post. She gave good advice as usual:) |
I agree maybe it's just today but if u notice she is acting different then call the vet |

I will call the vet in the morning. She hasn't had issues with it before. But she does have IBS. Hopefully, she is not about to have another episode with it. With the weekend coming up it may be best to get hold of him either way. With the IBS, I am not sure if I should give anything. But they have let her take other things before. Is there anything that is "natural"? |
Gas is usually caused because they aren't digesting something; soy is a very common cause as it contains hard to digest proteins. If you haven't changed the food, make sure no one is giving table scraps. Exercise can help reduce gas because it can stimulate a bowel movement. There are Digestive Enzymes that can help reduce gas if this is a reoccurring problem, but I would check with a vet to make sure that there’s no a bigger issue. |
