Just dropped Bella off for her first groom!!! :eek:

Im nervous, but these people are highly recommended!

Not too sure, I told them I wanted a little short but not too much....I think I need to specify some more next time. She does look cute though. :)

just realized that when I used color splash on the photo (background black & white, shes in color) that I didn't change part of her ear. Silly me, it looks like part of her ear is missing!!!! :eek: lol

She is adorable with her new haircut. They did a good job.

Next time if you want it a certain left, tell them specifically that you want an inch of hair left, or 1/2 inch, or whatever. For me, when I have a new dog to groom or one that is overgrown, asking the owner how much hair they want left on the body is the easiest way to know what they want. Then you can tell them if you want the legs the same length or a little longer, and the head a little longer, or a lot fuller.

Thank you so much for the advice! I definitely need it. I never had a dog groomed before. She asked me "How do you want it cut?" and I went completely blank lol

Aww she looks so beautiful.... I love there hair short ..some people like the longer hair but I keep Ruby's hair short she has what they call a puppy cut .....I have her done every 4 weeks. :yorkiej:

I like the hair shorter too I guess. I think I was a little more shocked. With the cut, her color changed completely. plus she doesn't look like a puppy anymore. lol.

I have her scheduled to go back in 6 weeks for just a trim around the face.

What I find with Ruby is everytime she gets groomed her hair gets lighter and lighter.....my groomer says that you don't see there true colors until there about 2yrs old ! Ruby will be 2 1/2 in December she's so blond........Love her:heart to:heart to

you could always take a li'l picture next time too on your phone or a print out to show them. that always helps too... i groom all my dogs myself, which i prefer that way if it gets messed up i didn't pay for it ol but i enjoy grooming too!

she looks precious... she looks like a teen pup :P
