Walk using a coupler? Just curious if anyone has had experience using a leash coupler to walk two dogs with one leash...like this. http://img03.static-nextag.com/image.../697732878.jpg |
I have one it works good. Specially when your leading three I can hook two and have a free hand for the third. |
Yes I use 2, I have 4 dogs. You have to match the dogs, Abba is so little sometimes I let him have a ride in my pack, if the others are going too fast. |
I have used them lots. For my own dogs, and at work, I think they are great ONLY if you are walking dogs very similar in size. Otherwise the small one will get tugged on too much. OTherwise its awesome! |
I used one to walk Rusty and Ziggy. Once they got use to it I loved it! |
I have thought about it when Callie and Sammy are together and going places but I worry if on a walk he might accidently pee on Callie  |
I use one most of the time and it's really funny they seem to have a pattern-Sissy is always closest to me with Bubba on the outside. |
The girls are the same size, so I'm definately going to get one - or make one, bc what I'm finding in stores have such heavy clasps. Thanks ya'll! |
It tends to work best if the dogs are matched in size or speed. I've coupled my 11 lb Toy Fox terrier and my dad's 6 lb Yorkie, and sine they both move kinda slow it worked fine. |
I tie two leashes together near the clasp for two pups. Works great. |
