Ricki | 11-27-2005 03:49 AM | Dru Hi Robbie, I am so very sorry about Dru, but he was a very lucky little boy to have had you while he was here. I got lucky with Gooshu. He has a slightly open font and he did not develop the slot that the knee cap fits in in one rear leg. The vet said his heart, liver ect are great! The problem with runts are they could stand to cook a few more days, but when the rest are ready to be born, they don't have a choice. They have to come out to. I am going to have his leg fixed this year. The vet said she couldn't make it 100%, but could make it at least 90%. It doesn't bother him, but I want it fixed while he is young. I want to breed with his father, but before I do I am going to pay to have her take him to the vet with me and have his patellas checked just to make sure his are solid. If she is not willing to do that, I won't breed with him. His dads name is Bo Bo and he looks just like a bigger version of Gooshu. They are to blond for AKC standard, but they are beautiful and will make good pets for good homes. PM me and tell me what Dru's problems were. He is such a cutie! |
