24 karat yorkies???
 

Hey guys! So my fiance and I are in the process of looking for good breeders in the AZ area. We found these breeders near Phoenix, AZ. Does anyone know anything about them? I sent them an email with a bunch of questions just now, so hopefully they can answer my questions. Just wanted to see if any of you have heard of them or if you know of any other reputable breeders preferably in Tucson, AZ but Phx is ok too. Thanks guys!

Thank you both. Yes, the pics of their yorkies are very beautiful. I sent them an email asking if I could come up there to see their yorkies and also the ones that they are breeding because according to their website they don't have any litters available at the moment. So if I can get a good sense of the yorkies they are breeding and go meet the breeders themselves, possibly I can get a lot of questions answered and hopefully all the answers are good haha.

Also wanted to add that my fiance and I saw an ad in the newspaper locally for yorkies and called them. The girl said she had one male yorkie and one female left and we could come see them, so we went to her house and when we got there, she didnt have the parents on her premises. Apparently, she gets the puppies from breeders across the country and they ship the puppies to her????:eek::eek::eek: Also she had like 4 or 5 different breeds of puppies in her house. The only good thing was that she didnt have them caged up. They were all running free in her house, and her house was clean....so she gets a small gold star for that, but I can't believe she actually thinks its ok to "broker" puppies out like that. It looked like some of the puppies weren't even barely 8 weeks old either. She even made a comment that she should open a pet shop and that she would close all the other pet shops down because her puppies would be half the price (she was selling the female for 700 and the male for 450):thumbdown:thumbdown I just can't believe some people are like that. She would have just given me the puppy if I handed her cash. No application or questions about who I was or anything. I could have been a serial puppy killer and she wouldnt have cared as long as I handed her money. It made me so angry today, my fiance was scared of me hahaha. Sorry, just had to vent that.

* * * * * so i just wanted to add that the advertisement you saw in the paper for yorkies and the lady that is being a broker is not the 24karat yorkies breeder - because I am the owner/breeder of 24Karat Yorkies and the only breed of dogs I have are YORKIES and I always have the parents on the premises....... Not sure if you were incinuating that it was me - but because you posted it along with does anyone know of 24karat yorkies it looked that way.

I agree, I think she was just venting about a breeder who advertised in newspaper.

I too understood they meet someone from a newspaper ad. I love your site! I like the links on the left, especially the one that tells about the standards. That alone shows you want to better the breed! Most sites I've seen don't tell the standards, maybe the breeder will say in person, but... that really impressed me!
