To everyone suffering a Yorkie loss this week. I have been monitoring this site since August, and I do not think I have ever seen so many reported Yorkie deaths. It has been a really rough week for so many of the YT members, and my heart goes out to all of them. I do know what it is like to lose a furbaby, and it hurts for a long long time. They are so easy to love, and they love you so much in return, that when the object of our affection is tragically taken from us, it leaves a void that is difficult if not impossible to fill. I don't know what I would have done without my Wosie after Jasper and Angel both passed away this year. I hope I am not crossing any lines when I say to all of you, get a new baby. It really really helps. |
I know I have been really sad reading these stories too. I know a new puppy doesnt replace the dog you lost but it does help mend a broken heart. I know if I was in that situation I would get a new puppy too. |
Sorry to all who has suffered loses this year.. I agree..getting a new baby will help. A new baby won't replace the one you loss but it does help ease the pain and give you something to put all your love into.. I too suffered loses earlier this year and it does get easier as time goes by. You don't forget but you cope. I don't know what I would have done with out my other little mop rags.. Again, Sorry to all who has suffered loses this year...Sherry |
I know we've had some bad weeks but I still think the 24 hours we lost 3 is still in our minds- I always try to visit the RIP section to pay tribute and feel soooo bad over the posts I read - it's really hard to read... Bless ALL the angels that go to the Rainbow Bridge.....I really believe that is their little place in the sun and we WILL see them again one day |
Yes, it's been very tragic here for quite a while. So many babies lost... |
R.i.p. To all the lost babies. I agree that getting another will ease the pain. At least it does for me. I have had to have dogs put to sleep for various reasons over the years, but the one that sticks in my memory is a Poodle that was 16 and had lost most of her sight, and then became ill. I took her to be put down and when I got into the car to leave my Aus. Cattle Dog puppy climbed up in my lap and licked the tears from my face. No one takes the place of the one who is gone, but they do partially fill the gap that is left. I don't know what I would have done without one to do that. I hugged her, dried my tears and drove on home still feeling the pain, but also feelilng the love of the other one. |
I agree. I never thought losing Lacey would be so hard. But, having her for 13 years, she was like my child. I did not think of her as just a dog as a lot of people would say. She was more like a little person with the personality to match. It is nearly 5 months now and I am still grieving. But, should have my new yorkie baby (Chloe) by Valentines Day. I can't wait. We still don't know what breeder we will go with yet. Still got 2 people in mind. And still got to meet the parents first which I will do sometime this week. Nothing will ever replace my Lacey. But, our house is too quiet without a little dog running around which makes the missing even harder. I believe my little Chloe will help ease the pain and lonliness I am feeling. I still have a lot of love to give to another one. My mom and dad will spoil her rotten too, just like they spoiled our little Lacey. |
I agree wholeheartedly that anotherr baby makes the loss easier. I lost my Tori in August after 12 yrs. and it hurt so bad it made me physically ill. I still miss her more than I can say but it has been much easier to bear since I brought Gypsy home. She hasn't replaced Tori but she found her own little place in my heart so quickly I couldn't believe it. I would definitely recommend to anyone to get another baby as soon as possible. Sending warm love and condolences to all those who have lost babies, Kathy, Tango and Gypsy |
I agree there have been so many babies loss and its so heart breaking reading all of them. I am so sorry for everyones loss. I know how it feels we have lost our very first Yorkie years ago and its so hard to go thru some thing like that. I agree get a new puppy it will never replace the one that you loss but i does help ease the pain. |
I also agree that getting a new baby helps ease your sorrow. Skye was our first baby. We got him 2 months after we got married and he went everywhere with us. He died this past summer at 15 in my oldest son's arms while on the way to the vet. We got little Tiger a few weeks after his death. I can definitely say that I still MISS Skye so much, but having this new little bundle of energy has been therapy for our entire family. |
God bless all of the little angels. :tinyheart :tinyheart :tinyheart |
