Odd things they do What kind of odd things will your your yorkies or even other pets eat, not eat or do. Here are some of mine My yorkies wont eat a dog biscuit but they love cat treats. One of my cats wont eat her cat treats but she will eat a dog biscuit. The yorkies will sit on the back of the couch and look out the window and if they see one of the cats at the door they will bark untill we let them in. It is just odd that they know to do that My yorkies will bark and cry when they hear Mr frosty ice cream truck come down the street untill we get them an ice cream cup. Now we have several ice cream trucks that come down the street and they only do it for Mr Frosty. It is both amazing and odd that they do that |
Both of my babies love to put their heads out the window (in the car while its moving)... but they hate it when a fan or someone blows in their face. (I don't get that). |

Little Lollie will sniff a treat and then wait for Tealie to eat one - I guess to make sure they are good. |
I can't give Jada biscuit type treats, she will carry them around for hours hunting the perfect hiding spot and she gets really stressed out about it. |
Ginny Joy digs not just dirt, but rugs, tile, sofa, the plastic tray in her crate. After she is sure it is the right spot, she seems to sigh and flops down. Rubin like to put his nose and chin in my shoe, he gets a the same dreamy look I do, when I smell bread baking. Gracie dances on her back legs when she gets a new dress, just like a little girl spinning and asking am I pretty ? Abba hides from the other dogs, he is the only one that can fit under the cabinet in the office. Then he yips and squeaks his Kong ball and drives everyone crazy. |
Well only having our Katie Scarlett a week, I haven't noticed as much as I am sure will come. One thing she does right now that cracks me up though is how she tucks her ears flat back when she gets the zoomies and runs from one end of the house to the other. I am sure this is a commonplace thing, but it's new to us and hilarious! She cracks me up every time! |
1 Attachment(s) My crazy munchkin knows the sound of my car doors locking. He can hear the noise from inside of our apartment when I lock the car in the parking lot. And then he starts barking excitedly. :) When he's feeling especially hyper, he'll start carrying around my stuff (like my shoes, papers...things he normally leaves alone) to see if I'll trade him my things for a treat. He's obsessed with writing utensils. Steals any pen, pencil, highlighter he can finds and runs and hides with them. We say he's working on his memoir. He lifts his arms for me to put clothing on him. This never fails to make me laugh. He also steps into his harness for me. He prefers to ride on the arm of his car seat rather than IN his car see. See picture below. :D |

My yorkie/maltese Lulu meows when she plays with anything rubbery like a squeaky toy or ball but not when she plays with stuffed toys. (We think she may have an identity crisis.) Strums her water dish several times before she drinks and then drinks only from the far side of the dish. She is also impossible to train with treats because she will only rarely eat anything other than her dog food. |

Nope, he's just a writer!! Mostly blank verse, thank goodness. I don't understand his obsessions with pens and pencils! Funny guy. |
When Cheyenne wants me to pick her up or she wants my attention, she will take her front leg and scratch on me-like a little child will tug on your shirt-so cute! Chewie likes to be carried around while I do everything. He always wants me to pick him up and stands up like a small child and pushes on me with both front legs. And whines like a baby. Bubbles must go around the "leash chair" 3 times before I put her leash on her. She has OCD. Rusty loves to fetch-all day long-especially CUZ BALLS. He is a great beggar with this eyes! He has that down pat. He has trained his Dad and I. My favorite thing is he will sit and stare at me and I read his mind.......... |
