Very cute! |
Oh my, the dress is gorgeous....great job! Your baby looks beautiful in it! LOVE it! I've been trying to find a pattern where the chest is covered and arm holes, as opposed to the strip of velcro at the neck and around the belly area. Looking for something to make in like flanne,l where the chest would be covered for everyday winter warmth. I goes so cold here...brrr. But, so far...no luck. Does your dress cover her chest and have arm openings? If so, is it a pattern? Thanks a bunch:D |

Thanks everyone. I was proud and thrilled at how it turned out. The pattern I used is Simplicity 2904. Just had to make a few adjustments to it tho. Bella weighs about 6-6 1/2 lbs. so the xs-s was kinda to small. I even went by the measurements on the back. I had to cut the top a little bit bigger and same way with the arm holes. The belly side does cover the whole chest area. The neck line is a little high, but it can be turned down to make a collar if you don't add velcro to the edge. I made notes on the adjustments for the next one. |
