Well so far she's only been in the PTPA for about 10 minutes today. Other than that she's been out with us or playing in her big x pen that is attached to it. She went to the bed first, but has since stayed in our arms or playing on the floor with us watching constantly. I haven't put her in there and closed the doors yet. We'll see how tonite goes. I hope it will work out for us. If not, I'll move the potty pad to the outside on the far end of the x pen. :) |
Whoo hoo! This is so silly, but we have a poop!!! Our first! LOL. She went right to the pad insdie the PTPA and went. I was so proud of her!!! Now she's out and playing in the man cave with us. :) |
What a cutie. Congratulations. |

She's a DOLL!! Am Sooo Happy For You! You are going to be such a Good Mommy!!!!!!!!!! She is soo lucky!! :) |
A big congratulations on your darling girl - she is a doll and I know you are both so excited. Give her time to adjust so don't rush her - just let her be and adjust. Isn't having a Yorkie puppy the most wonderful thing? They are just like a windup toy in that they are so unbelievably cute but they move and love and kiss and cuddle and do the cutest things in the world. A Yorkie is the best gift one can give oneself - not only will she always be a delight to look at and play with, she will be your best friend, she will love you more than she loves life and she will always fill your life with joy and fun and companionship. And you will do likewise! I hope you enjoy this little girl so much and wish you the happiest life! Congratulations again on the precious little girl and I sure hope you enjoy her as much as I enjoy my little Tibbe! Tibbe sends Katie Scarlett a big hug and lots of Yorkie kisses. ♥ |
Congrats, she's beautiful!! I have just snuck in another myself...We are now complete!;) |
What a little doll baby. |
Congradulations on your new baby. I know you are so happy. She is absolutely adorable. |
Thanks guys! I think she is adjusting pretty good so far. She is down on the floor right now wrestling with a toy. She'll have at it, roll with it a bit, and then look up at us like 'yea, you see what I just did. I'm all that.' Then she'll go again. She's been doing this for about 15 minutes. And we had poop #2! (both were teeny tiny) LOL. Same thing. She walked right up to the pad, did her business, and looked at us like...yea, I did it! We gave her a little bite of a treat both times. |
She is so pretty. I can tell how happy you are and I'm so glad you are enjoying her so much. All of the firsts are wonderful and there will be many for you!:) |
Oh she is a doll!!!!! I had to work the store today and although we do have i-net there, it was down all day today! I will admit it kept crossing my mind that you would be posting pictures of your new baby.. so when I got home tonight and finally got to where I could sit down, YT was the first place I came to look for your pictures!!! :D She is just so cute! She'll make a wonderful addition to your family I'm sure. Congrats!! |
Yay!! So excited you could bring her home!! Have fun and enjoy!! Be suire to post lots of pictures of that cute face!!:p |
Oh I am just pea green with envy! Enjoy every minute, they grow up so fast. I have always loved that name and the book and movie it comes from :). I bet she is going to be quite the belle! |
WOW! She is a beauty! And, seems to be getting right in the swing of things! Congrat! |
Thank you for letting us share from afar the joy you are experiencing with your new baby. it brings back all the memories of when Marley, then Max came to live with me. Little Yorkies are expert at 'training you' without you even knowing it. Just today I realized my brilliant effort to train Max not to bark at the office was backfiring. When he barked, I would say, "No bark" and then pick him up and distract him. Soon I realized that while he was perched in the crook of my arm, he was surveying the area for whatever he wanted to get into next... and he had learned that when he barked, I would pick him up and hold him. Hmmm... who is training who!? |
